Which would make it also the perfect opportunity to play Mitch into formWorking through some kicking issues.
For what ever reason his kicking in front of the big sticks has dropped off. Low confidence maybe.
I very much doubt Lord would make a debut if it wasnt against WC.
I dont mind Georgiades, but Port would be way too difficult to deal with to thrash out a deal
Some of Ports own board very recently were listing his trade value as 2 first rounders

Yeah it's looking unfortunate for Port with the players they're possibly losing at the end of the year. You could couple Bergman and Georgiades up and maybe get a mid-late first round pick but neither has done their value any good this year.
I think the best Port can get in this situation is Kozi and maybe a second round pick for all of Bergman, Georgiades and a future first. They are mostly likely getting Kozi though, who is better than both, so that is a plus for Port.
If they can get back into the first round this year whilst also trading for Kosi, that would have done well.
Maybe 2 years ago when he kicked 35+ goals for the season.I dont mind Georgiades, but Port would be way too difficult to deal with to thrash out a deal

Depends. If WCEhave a real lean year and injuries are playing a part, a bottom 4 finish will mean you wont pay much at all for him with the PSD threat in negotiation. I am sure that the recent Rioli trade will be in mind should the eags put their hat in the ring for mitch..the eags were not happy with how he departedI dont mind Georgiades, but Port would be way too difficult to deal with to thrash out a deal

With their early 2nd rounder.Port supporters aren't doing the trading
I'd imagine West Coast second would get it done if you finish near the bottom
Yeah, nah. With their early 2nd rounder.
A mid 2nd rounder, nothing more. It's a strong draft.

Lol, you're dreaming if you think MG is worth more than an early third.Maybe. I doubt it makes a rats arse of difference. If they were genuinely unhappy they could have farked us last year by blowing up the deal for JHF and they didn't. The complexity of the trade obscures who got what from who, but we definitely handed something of value over for a guy who hardly played for 3 years. The linked article suggests we paid pick 23 which will move up or down based on ladder position this year: From ‘won the trade period’ to a club-changing gamble: What the AFL’s biggest ever deal means. That's a reacharound for rioli. Not sure if true, but a couple of WC supporters have claimed Sheezel told them to get stuffed which is why WC were happy to trade down. Ginbey looks like a gun. There were a lot of port supporters that were unhappy Rioli was coming at all (me among them), livid he cost we he did, and thus far he's kicked 2 and 3 in high scoring wins and jack s**t in the other games. I don't think WC are thinking while getting beaten comfortably every week, 'gee we need a flaky small forward'. Any angst (from the people who matter) was about Rioli leaving not at us taking him. I don't believe the club has said anything since the trade was done.
If Georgiades a) goes and then b) goes for bugger all. It will be a case of WC being dickheads not them repaying the Favour. It's a move they'll only get to make once and they'll pay a price to do it. They'll look even more stupid doing it from 17th if Hawthorn finish last (which is likely). Noone is going to look past Georgiades for free and a 1mil x1 contract isn't a threat as Hawthorn will struggle to make the cap floor. Georgiades for 35+ isn't going to happen no matter how much of a wet dream it is for Adelaide/Vic fans. It'll be a good pick with picks maybe coming back to obscure how good or bad it is for either team. The fact that Danster was still trolling after learning he might have done an ACL only demonstrates how much of a bandwandagoning trashcan he is.

I said no such thing. I don't wish injuries on anyone. And stop the name calling and keep it on football. Poor postMaybe. I doubt it makes a rats arse of difference. Well, he's not a player we need anyway, so I'm more than happy to risk the PSD if interested, or pay a token pick to facilitate the move.If we were offered that we'd be saying you can try and build a career in your key development years at a club with JHF, Rozee, and Butters kicking to you or you can move further away from home at a 3-5 year rebuild at Hawthorn.
If the Eagles are interested it won't be too expensive. PSDI dont mind Georgiades, but Port would be way too difficult to deal with to thrash out a deal
