But GCs first six picks would be 2,3,5,17,26,29. And they have later picks for other trades. I just don’t see it happening that they trade down.

In isolation you are correct however i think most of us would swallow a poor result from the mcgovern trade if it was part of an agreed greater trade to get top 5 picks. It is the greater overall picture that is important if it pans out that way

If they give us 2 and 3 and we give them 8, 16, 20 , 23 and 24 they would be better off as they get 3 extra picks in the top 25 of a very strong draft . They need to build a whole team they don’t need just 2 good players they need ten as they are shithouse and will be even more so with the players leaving this year.
