We are not going to accept a late first rounder for Gov.
It's possible that the club wants to see the back of Mitch because he was the leaker to the media all year. Just an idea....

As a supporter of a non victorian club, you would know how destructive the media can be and basically write an incorrect narrative to build a case that is wrong.
I think the only way that happens is if we've got another deal to bundle up our picks for a top 5.
Our list is good, our recruiters have shown that they can turn some pretty late picks into good players.
We have the least amount of top 10 draft picks in the AFL (Gibbs now our only one I believe).
We're after a future star this year.

As large non vic clubs we are victims of our own success. The rusted on supporters arent as invested as we are here on bf. They will readily accept whatever the club says. That's why there will never be total accountability.
If neale and gov leave our respective clubs i reckon the only way we will ever get the full story would be when one of the key players writes a book.
