sounds like someone needs to lighten up.

p'haps he was freaking out driving a 300+ kph race in his head??

Nah, very funny question and he did need to lighten up. Language skills may not be so good.

Might have been a case of 'Im a top prefessional F1 driver and this guy isnt groveling before me.'

I dont really have much time for pepople like that. He didnt hve to find the prank funny, but its not like storming out was the best responce.

It started with an actor asking: "I have one question for Juan. Just a hypothetical one, Juan. As the wonder kid, the rising No.1, Juan, one wonders, should Juan only win one Juan in one year would Juan want to have won that one in round one, Juan?"

To laughter, Montoya cracked back: "One of them would have been in round one."

English isn't Mantoya's first language, he may not have realised it was a joke.
Apparently those comedians asked similar questions of Greg Rusedski at the Australian Open, but he saw the funny side of it. But someone who doesn't speak much English may not have.

Montoya spent several years in the US racing CART before he joined F1 - his English is virtually perfect so he would have understood what was been said.

Never liked the guy anyway, thinks he is the ant's pants yet spends half the time putting his Williams into the wall. One of the most overrated drivers in F1.

That's hilarious. Montoya should get a sense of humour transplant. STAT!

Greg Rusenski got a similar one, and he was having that drug thing on his head, he just laughed with the joke and found funny, Montoya's a well known -d***head, so I'm not surprised he didn't find the funny side of it.

In regards to morbid Monty (aka Montoya), the mozz has been firmly placed on his head now.

Juan won't win one more race. At least not this one.

Eh Juan!! :D (he's still got those good-looking Spanish genes though so he'll get over it)

I thought that the prank with Greg R was funny. This time with Montoya it wasn't funny. I find that if you repeat the same joke to famous ppl like Montoya they will walk out and tell you not so privately to get lost rudely.

So Suzi, does that make you 'almost' famous ?

While I did not think it was THAT funny, I think the guys picked the wrong driver.

They really needed to do it with someone with a sense of humour- e.g. Raikkonen, Barichello etc

Raikkonen is about as interesting as a blade of grass. I think you've gotten confused with someone else.

Barichello would've laughed, Ralf would've probably done the same as JPM. I think Coulthard would've been a good one to do it to.

Woah. That could be why Montoya didn't find it funny.

Yes, but don't we all preach about all being equal and being considerate about others and their culture? Well this arrogant piece is on OUR land, and he is making an absolute truck-load of money. I would have thought that he would have been able to pull his head from his a$$ and chill out for a while!
