Just straight out shows how delusional is the AFL? This comment is telling of the mindset at the AFL. Mark my words 2030 - 2033 is when Tackling becomes sanitised and almost outlawed. After then it would only be a matter of time after that going up for a speckie will be outlawed as you are no longer allowed to raise your knees in a marking contest.
Yet Dangerfield walked. Is it the tackle or is it the outcome Andrew?

one week as not intentional be annoying as accidental although you can sort of understand for Cameron/Bedford.
Three weeks too much for something with no malice in it.
Compared to what you get for a wayward elbow or fist out of play.

Maynard got of as they said it was a smoother in play :(
Cripps got off and won a brownlow on a technicality.

Dangerfields was the identical motion to Bedfords, and before we go down the “one was concussed and the other wasn’t” path, that didn’t seem to matter in Reid’s case either.

So where are we at? How can there be so much inconsistency and grey area open for manipulation
No Dangerfield's isn't. Dangerfield used the same tackle technique in this

Max Viney trying to get a job as a tackle coach ... doesn't take size differences or distance between tackler and tacklee into conisderation at all

Also never accounted for the speed of ball carrier who is trying to burst through the tackle. This is in comparison to someone standing still or moving slowly where you can think through where to position your legs in a tackle

I can't see either appeal being succesful. Just wasting everyones time.

We’re standing up for ourselves, our player and the game, regardless of outcome.

Time well spent.

Can’t keep a good bloke down.

Toby Bedford, we’re not leaving without you buddy. We’re gunna get you out of here.

Jam that up your shooter Andrew Dillon and Laura Kane.
