I wouldn't go outside if I looked like this. 
Can't source a pic at the moment, but the best mullet of the 80s was worn by Mark 'The Fridge' Roberts when he was a Bad News Bear. His big rusty mullet complimented his rosey red cheeks and outrageously tight shorts perfectly.

I would say the greg Anderson, Tom Alvin and John Platten ones were not mullets. They just have long hair
