Congratulations to Freight Train and the Harbour City Storm on another NAFL premiership! The goat gets it done again against a tough field.

Commiserations to craegus and the Wellington Seawolves on a narrow, hard fought defeat. Great to see the competition's oldest club in the big dance and hopefully we'll see you back again next year to go one further.

The NAFL will be back in 2024 in a similar format, so start thinking about those entries! Old and new teams, all are welcome!

Massive congratulations to Craegus on your first NAFL final, and just how well you’ve done all season - no mean feat to go undefeated.

I remember years ago you talking about “evolution, not revolution” and you’ve shown it with this design, yet another great evolution on the Seawolves identity, shows just how timeless it is, if it was in the AFL, it would be considered one of the all-time great footy jumper designs.

Great final, and thanks to everyone that competed and voted and a massive thanks to El_Scorcho for running this comp. If anyone knows how hard it can be to run NAFL, it’s me (and @E92_…) so well done on such a well run comp!

Proud to be a part of yet another chapter of this historic competition. 🏆

Well done to the Harbour City Storm and Freight Train on another championship. The near impossible challenge was just too great for us this time, but on any day the result could have been different.

And well done to El_Scorcho again for running the competition, the pinacle of competitions is not an easy task, but again it was run amazingly.

However, we are all forgetting the greatest part of the season, and the only real reason to celebrate. The Wellington Seawolves are again the #1 team in all of New Zealand!!!

As such a celebration tour will be undertaken throught the month of January, visiting many towns and locations throughout both islands, including Auckland, Rotorua, Christchurch, Queenstown, Dunedin, Invercargill, Milford Sound, and of course the greatest city of Wellington.

Keep an eye out for the celebration tour when it visits and celebrate along with us. Yes this even means thouse lousy Waikato Tigers fans, but we forgive you and you are all welcome to dump that team of yours and come across to your greatest NZ team, the Wellington Seawolves!!! #TheGreatestNZTeam

bring back the NAFL NZ challenge ✊

Wellington would be happy to do that, eapecially being the current reigning champions of it!!!

Concept for the NZ challenge:

A lineal title belt that can only be won by beating the reigning champion in an NAFL game. Any side representing a NZ location is eligible if they're playing the champion. Belt is forfeited to the field if the champion misses a season, with the first game between 2 NZ teams deciding the new holder. So you'd go into next season with the belt around your waist or on your shoulder if you're that kind of champion.
