yep, thanks. Lots of work done between debut year and this year. and really, Palmerston's red/green combo sh*ts over the Brown Bears red/green combo last year.

So many great designs, and lots of new (returning?) compared to last year - is gonna be a hard comp to win.

To clarify, the triangle next to the eagle head is not a wing. It is a hill, which signifies the hilly terrain of Whittlesea the suburb.
Really keen for this season, hopefully I can beat my PB of first round finals exit this year.

FWIW I'm really not a fan of how the back diagonal doesn't follow the angle of the hill on the front, so that's why I voted against you

Fair call. At the time that was the best way I could incorporate it, but now that you mention it, I think you’re right.

Really only beaten because of the template IMO. Solid entry for first year of NAFL. Keep working on building depth to the design as a realistic template may bump you to the top of the reserves but won't get you out of the bottom rungs of the top comp (look at my G-Force as an example of that!)

Toowoomba Tsars vs Dandenong Vikings I found hardest to pick. I went with Toowoomba just, but Dandenong has a really good Scandinavian / viking vibe that'll see me voting for it in future rounds I'm sure.

Nah it was just a joke, I purchased CS6 last year after scabbing it for a while and thought I might pay it back.

I'd try and define the shape of the Eagle head on the jumper more. Add in shadow lines for the beak and an eye to give it some detail. Also, maybe try lowering the mountain and darkening the yellow so it doesn't blend in with the Eagle and get confused for an oversized wing. Matching up the back will also tie the design in much better

Otherwise, it's a clever design, just needs some fine tuning to compete further. Definitely a smokey for the title this year

Anyone got feedback/potential improvements for Whittlesea?

In the nicest possibly way, and I was guilty of this with the Boomers hence the complete change this season, it's that you're beating a dead horse. Every year seems to be quite subtle changes, which just don't translate when the previous season hasn't had the best results either. At the moment, the navy and gold just isn't working because it's not eye-catching, and most often doesn't work with exception to El_Scorcho's FIRA team because of the crafty design elements. Wanted to move you up to the top flight this season because you've been toiling in the Ressies for a while and you're a decent designer, but I'd love to see something really fresh from Whittlesea.

Better than last year but tend to agree with FT. The basic design hasn't really changed in three seasons.
