This week, your Gold City Royals are honoured to run out alongside the newest player in the 200 gamer club, nahnah.

nahnah has been a very loyal member of the Royals, playing his last 112 games for the club. He is well respected and admired around the league. He won his maiden premiership with the Royals in S30, playing an important role as Rover and being a driving force in the Royals victory as they went on to defeat the Swamprats 18.10.118 to 13.7.85

He debuted in Rd1 of S23 for the Roys and would go on to play 41 games, before 35 for the Bombers and 11 for the Wonders then finally finding his rightful home at the Royals. A two time All SFA representative (S33 & 35) and previous Captain of the Gold City Royals. Congratulations nahnah on a teriffic achievement. Congrats on 200 but wait till you see what we do for your 201st game

Has been a pleasure waiting till well after game day and reading your foray into the threads - it makes Tuesdays such pleasant experiences​

Well, we're finally here. 200 games for nahnah. 400 halves, 800 quarters.

Nahnah, we've been team mates for 109 of them. I can't think of anyone I'd rather spend those games with as team mates, except perhaps ... well, we won't go there.

I remember that time when you wrote 300 valentines day cards signed from "guess who" and put them in all the letter boxes in the neighbourhood to drum business for your divorce lawyer mate.

Then there was that time you signed cadsky up for the sexy ferret monthly newsletter. That was fun.

Remember when you broke into Grey Crow's house and replaced his family photos with photos of Steve Buscemi. Nobody noticed for two years.

And the time we were supposed to go to the team meeting online and you made an animation of the "I am currently typing" dots, and then went to the movies and everyone lost their minds wondering what massive essay you were typing.

It's been a fun ride.​

When I think of nahnah, I think of our time in 'Nam and the various horrors, atrocities and war crimes that we enjoyed performing, just silly fun stuff like putting our feet on couches with shoes on, lowballing vendors on items they're selling, going to maccas for lunch, etc.

I also think about the time he made me call him 'daddy nahnah' for a year and wear a mankini when we hung out, with all exposed areas to be freshly waxed. It was a bit weird but in revision some of the best times I've had.

Congrats nahnah, whom I have always considered the finishing touch on the S30 premiership side. I know it was your fourth club but I feel at the time we really brought you home. Since then you've continued to lead and will go down as a Royals great.​

Congratulations nahnah.

Our time at the East Side Hawks together will be forever cherished.

If I was a team mate with you now at the Gumbies I would chair you off on my own, happy to walk backwards if necessary.​
