It's weird. Our beloved sister in law that has a PHD in language happens to ignore anti-semitism. It's weird, if we look back to what Hitler did, it's horrible, but if a bunch of local dickwads want to burn a synagogue, it's all ok. ONe should ask what is now wrong with us.
Hitler was evil, had an obesession with about 10 different groups, no right to kill or be responsible for the 60million or so who died in WW2 in Europe ( including 23 million Russians, 5 million Polish people).
No religious place or other building should br vandalised, let alone burnt down.

The biggest danger is not the extremist scumbags who did the firebombing.

It's the people who shrug their shoulders and allow it to happen, or in some cases, cheer it on.

I still remember the words my mates Grandad said to me, he was Latvian and had experienced the Germans coming through his village.

He said "first they came for the Jews but I did not say a word, for I was not a Jew"

"Then they came for the homosexuals but I kept silent, for I was not a homosexual"

"Then they came for the gypsies and I once again said nothing, for I was not a Gypsy"

"And then, the village was pretty good place to be, if I'm being honest"
