The last (and only) time the Johnny-come-lately (est. 1980) Mavs won the championship in 2011, Coach Kidd was still playing for them (second time around)



Meanwhile, despite having a league equal-high 17 pennants, the Shamrock Duds (est. 1946) have amassed a measly 1 since 1986… sound familiar? No wonder they’re the favourite team of our resident Carltank tragic



Well friends, the time has come for them to choke again - may the best team (Dallas) win and let that Commie ‘Red’ Auerbach roll in his grave!



For once I’m in a favourable time zone and looking forward to the series being closed out in… 6 games
