I picked this up today

Pretty good so far. Being on fire isn't quite as powerful as it used to be, but very handy. Just smashed my first backboard too :thumbsu:

Also just heard the best line from a commentator after i made a block

"No hoop for you"

Pisser

Waiting for my boss to come online to have a go at the MP

Re: NBA Jam

what's the best price for this going around?

i def will get it but will probably wait til it's under 50 dollars which it will no doubt get to after a while.

can't believe it wasn't a downloadable title tbh

Re: NBA Jam

nice finds viney

i might actually wait though because i still need to buy presents for christmas and want spending money for my holiday over the christmas break.

the game will only get cheaper :)

Re: NBA Jam

JB is cheaper than EB but EB has a better return policy and can price match JB anyway.

Why would you buy this game for 80 bucks (eb price) when you could get NBA 2k11 for 40?

Re: NBA Jam

JB offer a full refund until January 15 now as well?

But Kerrbs, my EB>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> any other games shop in Australia :)

Can't wait to jump online tonight, my boss had cricket practice last night, so couldn't get on
Then come to Vic and replace the dodgy EB that I have to go to :p.

Re: NBA Jam

The only time i shop at EB is to get them to price match, gives me a raging boner when they have to take $50 off of the stickered price.

JB is better because they are cheaper, have more accessories (also cheaper) and the pre owned games are WAAAAAAAAAY cheaper. Eb want more than retail price for 90% of their pre owned games. Never used the EB return policy because i make sure i research the game before i buy it :p (reviews, word of mouth, videos on you tube)

Back on topic, got this on Wii and its good fun but not worth the asking price, could've easily have been a downloadable title

Re: NBA Jam

Does anyone think it's worth the money or should wait for it to get cheaper?

Re: NBA Jam

Playing online with a mate>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> playing against AI

It is so much fun, it should be criminal!

Had some matches on Friday night with the boss, played classic mode, co-op mode, and a few remix matches

No lag reported when i was playing with my boss (who lives near mandurah, while i'm well north of Perth)

Brilliant stuff. Will probably get on it again tonight

Re: NBA Jam

Haha, no way. Didnt even know this was out there.

This on the mega drive pretty much got me properly into console video games. Shooting 3's from the sweet spot in the corner FTW

Re: NBA Jam

Is there much to this game? I mean what's the lifespan of it going to be.
NBA Street on the PS2 was damn good, as far as streetball, and quick fun, but it all went backwards in the sequel.

Oh, and I'm a little concerned about your preoccupation with your Boss, Glenno. ;)
