Yes and surname Knoll
Pronounced Ka - noll
Must be of Germanic extraction. No silent K in most Germanic languages except English

It's fair enough to want your name pronounced correctly. E.g. we say "Wen" instead of "N-guy-en"

That being said, to me the guy comes across as worrying. That right hand turn thing with the tram was pretty incompetent

his press conference relating to the AO bus funding was horrendous as was another where I can’t remember the reason for. Just seems to never have answers and is very awkward in his deflecting

Naive. Not incompetent.

I think that was the line of thinking. Combining north and south course into 1 top quality one, cant remember the plan with the par 3.

I'm not course designer, but I think having a couple of holes along the river would be high on the wish list. Par 3 is important to have, so I'd use some of the current north course land for that.

to be fair, we only stopped pronouncing it 500 years ago or thereabouts.

Once you have kids you realise how stupid our language truly is. There is over 10 ways to pronounce the letter a FFS.

Naivety IS incompetence when you choose to take on a position of responsibility.

Incompetence would’ve been following through with the politically naive, stupidly expensive, grandstanding election promise... one that was made by the liberal party whilst SK was the shadow police minister.

Incompetence is putting your name to promises you don't deliver on.

Haha he wasted millions trying to go through with it, he just failed.
No they didn't.

It was a dumb promise, but doing it would have been plain old stupid.

Back on topic , this seems to be growing legs by the day. I wonder how much is just the AFC and ACC testing the water for reaction and how much is truth.

I reckon it’s truth, they’ve both get something out of it.

Rowey said something that we have to build a new facility in a year and half.

Cornes said we wouldn’t be able to have closed training sessions and Bicks pointed out all the Vic clubs that don’t, including Hawthorn.

It will be great having open sessions. I’m on the road a bit and could easily pop in for 10-15mins to have a gander. We’ve never been able to do that.

I imagine it'd go back to the occasional closed session and that being our main AO trainings and selectively having trainings elsewhere when a need is seen.

And that’s enough. We had a a heap of scratch matches recently that no one could watch. It would be cool to be able to pop in to watch some

What was the millions spent on? I thought they shelved it reasonably early.
Engineers, feasibility studies, reports. Only to 'discover' that our trams can't make that turn without severe risk of derailment and the cost of acquiring new trams to run that route was beyond all benefit.

In the end the costs were bundled up with the 'signaling fiasco' (remember flying in the German experts?).

Don't get me wrong, I voted liberal, but this guy gives me no confidence. I can see us committing to a $5 billion 2-lane tunnel under South Rd because someone in the party room doesn't want to lose votes from land holders, when what's really needed is just to bite the bullet, buy back the land, and build a normal 3 lane freeway that can cope with future growth and won't take a lifetime to build.

Anyway yeah... aquatic center. Interesting. Seems to be no desire for a shed type arrangement to accommodate members so I guess in that case the location is fine

Port used to watch and film all our training sessions, Walsh told us how much they got out of it when he swapped over, it's why we have locked them down since 2015. The clubs spend a lot of well paid people's time to come up with new training methods, to have the players better prepared and to keep things fresh with variety. Port was able to save a lot of money by just copying the things we did that they liked.

The Victorian clubs that can't lock down training combat it by having unpredictable training schedules, but the club would absolutely want to be able to lock down training. If the new base is in the parklands they might not be able to use fences so will probably have to plant thick trees surrounding the ground and security guards to keep an area clear.

With the recently announced redevelopment of memorial drive, including a roof, could this be used as the new shed. Seems somewhat more is line with what I seem to recall the early promise may have entailed anyway
