One of my biggest bug bears is when people draw the prison bars with the cross bar that low. It looks terrible on players when it is that low. The top bar should be dissecting the arm cuffs at a minimum of 1/4 of the way up.View attachment 759714
Looks ok
Everyone's opinion differs but I prefer the lower "wharf". It emphasises the unique design and distinguishes it more from Collingwood. The bars in the late 1990's climbed up way too high. One of my biggest bug bears is when people draw the prison bars with the cross bar that low. It looks terrible on players when it is that low. Just saw on an ad after the NRL GF that Jimmy Barnes is playing the Entertainment Centre next Sunday night. Wonder if they are bringing out The Ambassador for a couple of songs at the launch.Sunday October 13th midday the logo will be announced
The bottom part of the logo is the Power chevron: teal and white. The logo has the Magpies guernsey on top of and intertwined with the Power guernsey. Take the teal away, and this disappears.Exactly. Why does it need teal to represent the 'Power' side. Black and White are common and 'Club' colours.
More Port Adelaide Plateauers by the sound of things.I don't hate it but that new logo is very bland. Fits current PA really well.
There's zero way any new logo should have been anything other than a circle. Magpies have the circle, Power adopted a square, and now for the commemorative logo we have a shield, that the club has never had before?
Also, it is far too heavy handed with the teal, and I like teal. I liked the teal pre-season guernsey. It may have been bordering on homer car but the teal outline should have been split between silver and teal.
The brief is "It NeEdS To HaVe TeAl"
So you either incorporate it in a way that makes sense i.e. representing the Port River under the wharf pylons, or you just end up with something cheap looking.
Wasn't silver. Was battleship grey - appalling colour. To get close to silver it needs to be very pale grey, bordering on off white. They should scrap the teal border and replace with silver. In fact, I'd be rapped if silver became one of the three primary colours and relegate teal to a secondary colour.
One of the few things they got right this year was the silver away/clash strip - I hope it stays.
