Don't mind the idea.
The whole sun over the horizon thing lends itself to an inverse of this design
I think yellow on bottom with a fade would differentiate themselves from a lifesaver identity and more suns identity.I will never understand why they didn't stick with the mascots jumper design from the start.
This would have been perfect from day one. I'm more of a fan of the yellow on top I think.

Everything about the Phoenix Suns is more aesthetically pleasing than the Golden State Warriors.I am still not convinced Suns is a marketable nickname going forwards.
Sharks would have been idea from day one (granted Southport would have wanted way too much coin to let their moniker go)
The Gold Coast Warriors is what they should really go with going forwards and try cash on the fame of the Golden State Warriors NBA team.
Their current/new logo and colours just makes them looks like shills for the Shell Petrol/Oil Company

I don’t like the name personally but it’s not really the problem. Phoenix is one of the best brands in the NBA.
Paddlepop went for longer than it should've, sadly.Brisbane Paddelpop Lion?
Don't mind the idea.
Red back IMO. Like the Sydney home (white front red back).
Have the "S" line sit flush with the red/yellow crossover.
Yellow to fade into red shorts (ie yellow, gold, orange, red gradient starting about 2/3 into that yellow section on the front).

How sick does that gradient look.
It boggles the mind how after a decade they've failed to really design a decent jumper despite how much potential they have. How sick does that gradient look.
Boggles my mind they went with what they did.
That is probably the most redeeming application of the logo I have seen. Emphasises the shape of a golden sun and some coast/rays, downplays the generic rest of it.
Logo front and centre, everything else is red and who cares if the logo gets lost in motion? It doesn't get lost on the thing it's applied to unlike the current one. That is probably the most redeeming application of the logo I have seen. Still don't think it would be impactful on field (squint...all you see is a yellow dot on red) but this is about as good as that fundamental design will get.

Working with the logo a little made me appreciate it more, there's a ton of things that you can do with it - missed opportunity to change the N to make an ambigram too.
