Makes me wonder whether this news is true or not in the first place.

Maybe someone hated the 9Ns proposal (I know I do) and so wrote that article to say Rupeni wanted to play for the All Blacks. Its big news cause Rupeni is the hottest rugby player going around at the moment.

Obviously the article created the desired effect.
