So given Jess Burger is on the selection panel to appoint the next coach, I think we can safety say it won't be her. But there are some other possibilities mentioned.

Where did she say this? Link?Looks like Schleicher has endorsed Trent Cooper for our next coach.....
Do we know why Cooper was axed from the dockers?
Yeah, I did read that.Dunno? ... but this in wiki.
Trent Cooper - Wikipedia

In his five seasons in charge, Cooper took Fremantle to the finals on four occasions. He was axed by the club in November 2022 after the conclusion of the AFLW's seventh season.[4] In the days following, Cooper described his departure as an "unpopular decision" and reiterated that he disagreed with the call.[5]
Less than a month after leaving Fremantle, Cooper was hired by the West Australian Football Commission in a youth development coaching role.[6]
Outside of football, Cooper is a high school maths teacher, having taught at Wesley College and Chisholm Catholic College.[7]
Yeah, surely can't be long. What's happening about a new coach?
Surely we should've appointed one by now, particularly with trades currently happening and a draft coming up.
More than two decades after leaving the club for Sydney, Nick Davis is eyeing a homecoming to Collingwood with the Swans premiership hero among the candidates for the vacant Magpies AFLW coaching position.
The Pies are hunting a new coaching for their women’s side after the club parted ways by mutual agreement with South Australian Steve Symonds in November.
Symonds was at the helm for five seasons, taking the club from the bottom of the ladder to four consecutive finals series before missing out this year.
“After careful consideration and discussions with Steve, we came to a mutual agreement not to renew his contract. This decision aligns with the club’s strategic direction and our commitment to developing our elite women’s football programs,” said Collingwood head of football Graham Wright in November.

Davis, 43, is currently Sydney’s AFLW senior assistant, sitting beneath Scott Gowans, who coincidentally held that role under Symonds at the Pies.
Having also held a range of different positions within the club’s men’s and academy programs over the past decade, Davis is understood to be keen to advance his career by taking a senior position and has entered Collingwood’s coaching process.
Should he secure the position, Davis’ career would have gone full circle given his involvement in the professional ranks started a quarter of a century ago when he was drafted by the Pies under the father-son rule, his dad Craig having played for the club in the late 1970s and early ‘80s.
Collingwood was one of four clubs on the hunt for a new AFLW coach this off-season. West Coast has already replaced Michael Prior with Daisy Pearce, while the Western Bulldogs and Hawthorn are looking to fill the spots left by Nathan Burke and Bec Goddard respectively.
I loved his old man, Boof. It cut deep when he left. That's a bolt out of the blue. Would be good to see Davis back at the Pies. I wouldn't mind that appointment, at all.

I'm not sure I'm ready to forgive yet.
A friend of mine was at the event fly did tonight and he mentioned the new coach could be announced as early as tomorrow.
Fly was involved in the process to find the new AFLW coach, said it was funny being on the other side of it.
Also said there were 3 really good candidates. Now we see who is the one that gets it.
Interesting. Maybe Coop's has let the cat out of the bag!!!
