Which of the Victorian clubs will be the next to win a flag?

Pies, Cats and Hawks share the last 5 flags (will probably be 6 flags after this year), so I am not including them in this poll.

The other 7 teams from Victoria are currently in premiership droughts that are over a decade long.

Who's your tip and why?

Obviously voted North Melbourne.

My own side excluded, Essendon. Followed by St Kilda then Carlton.

Richmond. Carlton is already in their window and failing, Essendon I can't see winning with their midfield and I don't see where the massive improvement is going to come from North to jump up to flag contenders.

Saints, Dees and Dogs should be going up when the rest start to fall.

Most likely to be Richmond I suppose. Carlton is an outside chance in the next few years if they can get everything to go right. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw inter-state dominance for the next 5-6 seasons (with Adelaide, WC and Freo going well with young-ish sides and the expansion clubs should get going once they are 5 or so seasons in).

Dogs, Dees and Saints are a long way away at this stage.

As much as I'd like to see the Hawks win it, the Tigers.

Would be okay with it, my sister supports them.

Roos ftw. Better and better every year. Would love to see the saints get up my god they have been waiting a long time.

Excluding North bias I would have to say I believe Carlton will.

Would have to be Carlton now that they have MM who will get the best out of his players, and take some pressure off Judd so he plays his best footy. Saints would be my smokie, they have some serious talent. Tigers are a couple of seasons away till their list gels and the kids get some games into their legs. Melbourne are on a wide berth turning the club around will take time, North will are thereabouts but with Harves & Petrie on their way out wont time it right. Doggies need $$$$$ for their football department and players with x-factor. Essendon need to decide on who their coach is, Bomber can take them to a GF, but Hird has me stumped.

Can Richmond find 6 players in time?
Can Essendon find a midfield in time?

North would have to rank as favorites. They're no guarantees though.

North will lose Petrie and Boomah by the time they are ready to challenge for a flag.

Richmond will have Cotchin, Martin, Lids, Foley, Jack, Vickery, Conca, Rance and Ellis all in their prime.

Get back to me when half of those blokes actually show "their prime".
