If Panton Hill paid even close to half of this they have genuinely lost the plot and probably should shut the doors.

Turner is not a bad player but they are going to be severely disappointed if they think he is worth close to that. Not to mention their ground is the smallest in the NFNL and won’t suit his game at all.

Completely agree but that's what I heard.
I also heard they offered a couple of Watsonia players similar money but they have resigned with Watsonia.
They have cash to burn it seems and eventually someone will take it.

Mernda signed most players on 2 year contracts start of this season so hard to see Kai moving next season.

Only time will tell I guess, Panton Hill will announce him soon if it's true. I thought Mernda players had signed their two year contracts last year.

Surely, if he wanted to leave, they wouldn't hold him hostage. He has given them a few good years. If it's ok to get players from other clubs that were contracted, it would be ok to let someone go.

Very quiet from Thomastown so far this offseason normally very active. Any news on who they are recruiting or if anyone is leaving ?

Missed 6-7 regular season games through injury and honeymoon, so I’m sure would’ve been higher than top 10 otherwise.
