Egan?Hang on, since 2000, we've had:
Sheedy
Knights
Hird
Thompson
Worsfold
Rutten
Scott
The fact they're counting Hurd's second stint as separate is bullshit. He didn't get fired, he was suspended by the AFL.
Excluding caretakersEgan?
Does Thompson count as a caretaker?Excluding caretakers
I think it is just the process. Until they are proven guilty of something you can not really stand them down as they are not facing criminal charges. The allegations are very serious of course so it is a touchy area to find middle ground.Fagan's return confirmed, Clarkson welcomes investigation
Brisbane's board clears coach Chris Fagan to return to the club immediately as Alastair Clarkson welcomes the investigation's terms of referencewww.afl.com.auClarkson to begin as North coach after Roos' board approval
The Kangaroos have approved Alastair Clarkson to start as coach as planned next weekwww.afl.com.au
Must be pretty confident they’ll be exonerated… awks if they have to stand them down again when the findings come through.
That's just the corner of the rug being lifted...broom at the readyI think it is just the process. People will be cynical I guess but I do not see it being swept under the carpet. Research the people appointed to hear the allegations and you will find it is not just some BS panel made up of white AFL cronies . I just think it will be hard to prove either way. That's just the corner of the rug being lifted...broom at the ready
That's a clever take. Well played.I guess the shoe is on the other foot re getting his head taken off
Woman at centre of Hawthorn racism review will not participate in AFL investigation
The lawyer for a woman at the centre of the Hawthorn cultural safety review says his client will not participate in the AFL's investigation, saying she is "refusing to consent to the silencing tactics of the AFL".www.abc.net.au
The statement claims the AFL ignored the woman when establishing the framework for the investigation, leaving her with no option but to walk away.
Marque Lawyers claim the AFL gave “Amy” just two days to address the terms of reference before they were established.
“Unfortunately the members of the First Nations community did not wish to be involved in our totally fair investigation so we can only conclude that there’s nothing to see here and we wish Alastair a successful career at North Melbourne”Not good by the AFL if they were planning on giving the ex-players and families a reason to believe the process would be genuinely indepedent.
Hawthorn’s review was external wasn’t it?Not good by the AFL if they were planning on giving the ex-players and families a reason to believe the process would be genuinely indepedent.
Hawthorn’s review was external wasn’t it?
Isn’t it a bit convenient to have an internal review of an external review that then finds that everyone who spoke to the external review was lying?
Before preseason starts if possible. They want it done before Christmas I guess..
Do you really think that will happen? Can we please fast forward to the part where Clarkson gets banned for life?
Only in the AFL would you have the league sanctioned website celebrating a coach under investigation for pretty serious racial allegations starting his first day at his new job.
