Second game this year where based on expected-score they should have demolished a team and still lost.
Bulldogs and Collingwood both had a case of the Freo this round

Such bruise free football. Rake up so much disposals especially Daniel off half back.
They're producing the scoring shots they need to win games and stopping the opposition from doing the same. Which means either:

1. Their players are genuinely garbage at converting and they need to either do more goalkicking practice or find forwards who can convert.

2. They're a very good, albeit unlucky team, and will be a force when they revert back.

Gold Coast winning would do us a huge favour, given it means we won't have to choose between unbeaten Carlton and winless Port next week.

That was a dirty bump by Ryder on Will Day and totally unnecessary. I hope they do suspend him and I don’t know why the commentators are making excuses for it.

Honestly the blues looking like they will finish top four and will have every chance to play in the granny. This is the darkest timeline.

You must be watching a different game to me.
They are behind by 10 points big deal. GC are in no way in control of this game. Even if they do lost remember that Melbourne lost to Adelaide and Collingwood last year and still won a premiership. Carltons midfield is very strong.

Against Gold Coast. Even if they win its hardly been a polished top 4 performance. They have been up and about but as you're saying, it's a long season. See how they go with out Cripps for a few weeks.

What? They're 14 down to Gold Coast at half time and only just beat Hawthorn, not sure what you're seeing?

The issue Carlton have is they're currently one trick. They are best in the league at scoring from stoppages, but around worst in the league scoring from turnover. This is not the identity of a premiership side. Set up defensively at stoppages and kill them on the turnover. Losing Cripps is a massive blow to their strength and leaves them ripe for the picking in a fortnight.
