Feel like just about every team has had THAT game against GC where all their hopes and dreams are dashed, we've had a couple I think.

We have those types of games against Carlton and St Kilda a lot
Still think it's too early to call. We're capable of playing top 8 football but whether we can do it consistently enough with a young side is pretty questionable.
Next couple of weeks are massive tests against 2 recent bogey teams.

GC can still lose this
The missing link for us is that mobile 3rd tall. Once one of (or maybe both) Treacy/Sturt is cemented in the side we'll be a completely different beast imo. Draw KPD's away from Tabs/Lobb and bring more to ground for Schulz/Switta/Walters et al.

Imagine stumping up a top-ten draft pick for Cerra when Gold Coast were paying people to take Brodie.
I think that's more a reflection of Brayshaw and his insane work ethic and will to win. Cerra is still bloody good and will only get better., much as i hate to admit it.

Hmmm, interesting end to this round....Hawthorn must have kicked a couple of junk goals just to nip away at the Saints percentage meaning they were just 2% below us on even wins, despite their monster win....if Gold Coast can do this it means we'll finish the round top 3, if Carlton manage to get up (anything is possible here...) we'll still finish the round in the top 4. If we can hold onto that 3rd spot, would be epic...
