Agree with Bok, for a club run by a lawyer this is really amateur. It was 1 week suspension which everybody would just cop, we have had similar in the past. Its his record and the appeal which make it 3 not his action. Just really dumb advice from those that should know better.

I don't have an issue with the appeal as I think it was pretty clearly tactical. If it stood he misses both remaining games of the season for a club battling to make the finals. If he got off or got a reduction it would increase the Dogs' chance of winning one or both games. If it went up to three games he'll probably just miss the first week of next year, since it looks like the Dogs aren't tipping they'll make finals without him.

Surprising given he looks like a pretty ordinary player. I laughed at his fumble in front of goals on Friday night.

He's underrated IMO. He's quite a good contested mark and while his goalkicking is hit or miss (3.4 against the Lions for instance) having that target straightens up the Dogs quite a bit.

Fair enough.
I rate the dogs midfielders, and I'd love Daniel on our list. The only desirable tall to me would be Roughead, but I dont spend a lot of thought on them.
If they see him as important then what you said makes perfect sense.

I wouldn't bring him into our team, but he's similar to Casboult - both teams don't have a lot of other effective options, so what he brings to the table is out of proportion to his standalone play.

Coniglio would be a good example for us. Sure, he's at a different position and level of play but you'd think we'd be able to cover his absence pretty well given our depth in the midfield. However as we've seen this year his combination of pressure, inside work and overall well-roundedness really makes his presence vital to improving all the players around him.

Great win to the Swans I dont dislike them as such, but am biased to the Crows. I would bear in mind the Swans had everything to play for, and the Crows nothing really.
Not suggestibg the were happy to lose but entirely possible things like Keath on Buddy early was an experiment in case they match up in finals.

I tell you what. The swans are looking the goods. What a turn around. They look so confident. Smashed Geelong in Geelong beating Adelaide in Adelaide.

They will fancy themselves anywhere right now

I'd still rather play the Swans than Adelaide. I think we match up better on them.

Interesting to see the betting odds for the premiership at the end of this round
Swans almost top for me after that win and I think the depth players and much better than last year

Are you a gws supporter or lions? I see you pro gws everywhere but you have the lions colors.

So poor old Cam McCarthy can't hold a spot in a team that has lost their last two by ~100 points.

Surely General Giant has one of his special GIFs to sum up that outcome...

Big outs. Could we win the Minor Premiership?

Talia would have had a tough battle against Kennedy, why fight it when the result doesn't matter. Particularly if he and Tex have niggles. After 22 games I cant see either will hurt from the probable 2 weeks off. They'd also have to consider the possibility they'll play a semi and potentially 3 elimination games in a row.
