I've been reading a few of the post-mortem articles about the Swans Grand Final performance. Some of the things being said are gob-smacking, to say the least.

Look at this:

“We would like to win a grand final, but it won’t define us. You always have to take those learnings, and hopefully, everyone believes that good things are coming. It wasn’t this year, but hopefully, it’s in the years to come."

Are they serious??? That sounds like the sort of woke, hand-holding, every-kid-gets-a-prize stuff that's dished out at Auskick.

And this:

"We had such a good year to put ourselves in this position, and then it’s just that cherry on top."

Wining the Grand Final is a "cherry on top?" Wow. I thought it was supposed to be the only thing you ever wanted?

No wonder they get thrashed in Grand Finals. If this is how they think, I hope we never have anything to do with it.
