Gotta say ports style will set them up well against Richmond. They could be a very real chance for the premiership this year

I thought they were about as bad as you can be and win a qualifying final.

I hope a port staff member is keeping a close eye on teammates beverages postgame. Rocky is a genuine threat to contaminate all of them.
Played well tonight 👌

They make the eight on the back of home games at Kardinia Park against interstate teams & the smaller crowd drawing vic clubs. Then get found out in finals.
I think they are even going to struggle at home.

I'd be happy to play Port or Geelong any time.

We got the sucker end of the draw . Play the best team 1st up and then have to go to Adelaide if we make the prelim.

Tomorrow is a very big game for us.
Not if we beat Richmond.

Interestingly ports game plan was to try and immediately get the ball out of congestion forward, then just throw on the skiis and head down hill.

Works well when you have boak / rockliff / wines winning every single clearance. Also when Scott leaves his best centre clearance midfielder in the forward line for the entire time the game is on the line.

Honestly the most impressive thing port did tonight was just cut off the switch of the Cats.

Geelong would've won if they kicked straight

I also think Dangerfield was a bit dazed.

I rate Chris Scott highly as a coach, but his main midfield set up for most of that last quarter seemed really strange. Having no danger or Selwood in the centre bounces just seemed like a really obvious blue at the time. Hopefully there is a valid reason out there for it.

I was at work and only listening to the game on the radio but pretty sure i heard selwood dislocated his finger and they were having problems getting it back in.
