Really impressed with Sydney, feel less embarrassed about our loss to them last week. The coaching staff and the playing group should be taking notes from their playing style and ball movement.

Port Adelaide one of the early favourites for the flag, look like a pretty powerful unit, Georgiades and Dixon a potent forward duo, Wines, Butters, Gray, Duursma, Drew are formidable mid A team, Aliir could turn out to be the trade of the year(lets hope it's our Joe), KPD was one of their supposed deficient areas.

by gosh its rude of me.. but the image down the base of the 7 telecast of the two captains for suns/kangas.. boy they ugly

maybe its bad resolution of my tv or the photos... or they're super small.

anyway. looking forward to this game. haven't seen north under Noble yet, and always like to watch a suns game.

What is the biggest challenge, Fagan taking us over in 2017 or Noble at the Kangaroos in 2021, who was the biggest rabble, I'd say we were.

Fagan had Noble though, no idea who is Head of Football at North.
North by far. We had already gone through the Leppa years to at least accumulate some assets.

Sad to say but Noble is about to be the Leppa for North.

Don't forget to mention as well that their own chairman (Ben Buckley) expects them to be contending for the top 4/finals regularly in 2-3 years time from now even though their playing list they have now is the worst in the league by a country mile

If that doesn't scream out to you how delusional North Melbourne currently are on-field/off-field, nothing will o_O

Better off shipping them down to Tasmania to be based full-time TBH.

Besides two decades of their 100 year history in the VFL/AFL (1970s & 1990s), they have been pretty much a minnow club in the league IMO

Jesus christ based on the commentary north Melbourne are full of stars and have gold coast right where they want them. Here come north Melbourne, they won a quarter by 3 points against a team that has no experience managing big leads. Its their year

As the round 22 match against the Pies is at Marvel to keep contract matches at each stadium upheld.
Yeah, I was thinking since its a Thursday night prime time slot the AFL would use that opportunity to maximise ticket sales due to larger capacity.

If the Noble thing doesn't work out at North over the next couple of years, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him come back to us as CEO.

Still reckon he will turn it around for them though in the long run. He is almost too good at what he does not to.
