You can kinda see how this game is going to pan out.

Gc just doesn’t have that gear to go to. Imo it’s due to a lack of class around the ball. Too many work rate blue collar (very good mind you) mids.
Not having King is probably a factor here too. Doing enough right territory wise, just can't find a way home.

You are right tho. Freo so much better at transitioning from inside to out.

It’s hard to watch this performance. No system going forward. High loopy kicks and handballs. No look handballs. Constant turnovers. Inconsistent defensive running.

Almost like Stewie Dew is still coaching them.

I'd much prefer it if people just let Morris play and stop pumping him for every mortal thing he does.

Maybe he's a natural ,he's got the composure and the smarts to make a good player , a fair way to go before he gets anointed.

No one in the opposition has been bothered to figure him out yet.

Shut the hell up and get on board the Morris wagon!

Shut the hell up and get on board the Morris wagon!
And on the third day Logan descended from the skies and lo, he kicketh three goals!

This one...

You try to remember that AFL umpires are working in an impossible system and not to take your frustrations out on them personally, but that is a disgusting call and the umpire responsible should be banished to the bush for the rest of the season. Pathetic.

There's movement at the station... and it's not who I thought!

Collingwood
Baseball Youre Out GIF by WAX

#1 - Sydney 155%
#2 - Western Bulldogs 131%
#3 - GWS 118% (up 1)
#4 - Carlton 112% (up 3) - Carlton actually rise from #7 this week without even playing a game. They've gone past Collingwood, Fremantle and us, all putting in worse than expected performances.

Collingwood crash to #8 @ 107%. North are #18 (59%) so the model marks their 1 point win very harshly.

With Collingwood falling below us while we fall below Carlton, we end up back where we started - still at #6 but having given up a bit of percentage, now back to 109%, on a poorer than expected performance against St Kilda.

The model has us beating Port by 16 points on Saturday. As per my post on Tuesday, it does not like Port at all, ranking them #14 @ 90%. Not that this counted for much when we played Hawthorn!
It's been to-and-fro for the last 24 hours, but after the dust settled we have a re-entry to the seeds!

#1 - Sydney 156% (#1 in attack, #1 in defence - up 1 since Round 11)
#2 - Western Bulldogs 131% (#2 in attack - up 1 since Round 11, #8 in defence - up 1 since Round 11)
#3 - GWS 120% (#7 in attack - down 1 since Round 11, #3 in defence - up 2 since Round 11)
#4 - Brisbane 116% (up 2, #4 in attack, #9 in defence) - our scoring profile has completely flipped since the start of the bye rounds. After the Hawthorn loss we were #11 in attack and #6 in defence. So despite winning 3 in a row our defence has slipped 3 spots.

Carlton slip back to #5 through very little fault of their own. 115%, #3 in attack (up 4 since Round 11) and #12 in defence (up 2 since Round 11).

Geelong were #4 in attack after Round 11, but have slipped back to #5 there. #9 overall (down 3 since Round 11), 102%, #14 in defence (down 2 since Round 11).

On the defensive front, Freo are #2, up 1 spot since Round 11. #6 overall (113%) and #10 in attack, which is up 1 spot since Round 11. Gold Coast come into the defensive seedings at #4. #8 overall (104%) and #9 in attack. They replace Adelaide who have slipped from #4 back to #6 defensively. #12 overall (down 3), 92% and #14 in attack (down 1).

The model has us beating Melbourne (#10 - down 7 since Round 11, 94%, #13 in attack - down 3 since Round 11, and #5 in defence - down 4 since Round 11) by 16 points.

When will you admit that your model is fake
