Gary Ablett Jr is a great player but gee he's a weak leader. Probably the biggest mistake the Suns made was chasing him.

Yeah hopefully I'm not saying I'm not a fan of McCluggage. He probably will take more time and end up being a better player. It would just be handy to have some genuine small forwards at the club, because at the moment we have exactly zero.

From memory, a lot of people were saying Lugg won't start as good as Ainsworth and a few others, but will end up the better player long term.

I think Bundy and Robinson will make up our small forward structure and do quite well.

In all honesty, I'm really liking our forward composition- through the jlt/round one it has felt very settled (most settled since Mcguanne came back for 3 games).

Yes Robinson will provide good pressure, as will Barrett and Bell, but we just don't have a small with the ability to score multiple goals playing at the moment. Hopefully Bundy can be that player. Our priority at the draft this year has to be small/medium speedy players, then KPD's. I guess what I'm saying is that yes we do have players that will do the defensive role of a small forward well, but none of them are offensively good, probably apart from Bundy.

From what I've heard, I don't think he will. Don't be surprised to see Clugg, Berry and Wither all signing on for an extension.
