That on top of the joint pain on top of the bone break would have been truly sickening.

Oh yeah he is going to be a very sore lad for quite a long time. It just goes to show how tenuous footy careers can be, with their whole lives potentially changing in an instant. Cornelius is another example.

I've recently had a chat to a 14yo who tore the bit of bone that the top of the hamstring attaches to off the rest of the pelvic bone.
His tendons must be like steel cable - he is flexible so the weak spot was the bone.
Horrible, painful injury with no corrective action taken other than 8 weeks with no training etc.

If he is 14 he probably hasn't reached full ossification. Tough with kids 10 to 15 or 16 with severs and other growth problems

Oliver Florent looked very impressive, the exact type of player the Swans needed to add.
GCS also looked to have hit the jackpot, Brodie is the inside clearance bull they desperately needed and Bowes also looked classy.
McCluggage was very impressive, Brisbane are going to have to do whatever it takes to keep this kid happy, can see all the Victorian clubs coming really hard for this boy, such a smooth moving player.

They looked pretty bad. Lot of poor skills and no defensive running. Lot like us of the last year or so. Early signs but they are probably right in the running for the spoon with us
