Nothing sums up Richmond in 2020 like this one thing

Richmond has always had the best team song in the AFL/VFL, at times it’s the only thing they’ve had going for them. There has been some tough times down at Tigerland, but that was all about to change.

Throughout much of the region's checkered history, amongst other things, Richmond became one of the only places in the world where you could catch Tetanus and Hepatitis C at the same time.

Yes, things were tough down in Tigerland. Crime was up and the only time people visited was when they got their orientation mixed, like their drinks, on the way back from the footy.

But that was about to change. With some government-sponsored urban gentrification projects, it seemed people were beginning to believe again. Richmond was looking up.

richmond won the 2019 VFL Premiership, and the 2019 AFL Premiership.

Is there anything we didn’t win?

With handouts going elsewhere, Richmond knew they needed to take matters into their own hands. In order to improve their brand and hopefully taste success one more time, they needed to do one more thing.

It sparked off a string of events that opened the door to dignity being restored in a community that had battled with so much hardship. Finally, in 2019 Richmond would get their very own Medically Supervised injecting room. It signalled a new era, one where looking successful and staying hygienic could finally come together with scary needles. By finding a way to gentrify hard drugs, Richmond could finally get it's supporters back and win a flag in their own right on the way.

A thread about Richmond, well I'll be, thats a novel idea
Funny isn't it, who would have thought you could find a thread about Richmond on a Australian Football Forum.
