World erupts as Novak Djokovic learns his fate over visa cancellation

The Australian government has been slammed for its handling of the Novak Djokovic saga following the news he will be deported and will miss the Australian Open.

With the UK government under Johnson in meltdown with it's parties at 10 Downing street i wouldn't be surprised if they found a way to stop unvaccinated people entering the country including sports people if they thought it would be popular with a majority of UK citizens as a way to try and make them selves less unpopular, which in turn would keep out Djokovic of Wimbledon and if that was the case i can't see Djokovic playing any grand slams this year.

It looks like the French, US and Aus opens are currently out for Novak. You would think the British will come under pressure if they are left as the only major allowing unvaxxed to play.
 
Unless Novax wants to put his career on hold for the next 2 years or so the only feasible way for him to continue his career is to get vaccinated. I seriously doubt he would be prepared to put his career on hold in his mid 30s.

Would be funny if he attempted to start up an anti-vax tennis world tour playing comps in countries where vaccinations aren't required.

He will be looking into how to fake a vaccine passport as we speak. And, as usual in Serbia, he will find plenty of
enablers.

Doubt they would lose the cards but the events wouldn't be for ranking points and Im sure the lower level guys who might be attracted to said events (like Sandgren or Pospisil) would prefer to hunt the random 250s that might allow unvaccinated players to play.

I look forward to Sandgren ranting when he can't play the US Open this year.
