cheap one trick ponies that suckered punch a young team today to win a game ... every time i watch Nth i smile knowing that they are going no-where fast ... if fact, i see a lot of similarities with Rich teams of the past 15 years in that they will probably be "around the mark" of the 8 for a few years, but never really good enough to make it or challenge seriously.

Cant wait to play these dirty dogs next year with another preseason under our boys and a bit more experience.

Makes me glad that Cotchin took one of those dirty dogs out.

Sorry but Richmond were just awful today.

Edit: North are always going to be a middle class team until they
A) have a clean out
B) get some supporters

So I definitely agree that they are not much :p

yeah we were awful today and would have lost anyway, but doesnt change the fact that nth are divers

North beat Richmond by 50 points, yet it's quite obvious that based on today, North will be the team going nowhere?

Makes sense to me. :thumbsu:

I think the comment comes out of the frustration from watching the golden ride you guys got today.

Yeah, you can't blame North, blame the umps. We didn't get a holding the ball our way until junk time. Awful performance, by us and the umps. North was the better team on the day but geez we got crucified.

They have even started a thread on their own board about how good a deal they got - apparently they wrote a letter to the AFL and complained.

we were crap and they played the umpires for what they could get.
(note to players: if you are tackled from behind simply fall forward taking tackler with you - guaranteed in the back free for you)

in case you didn't see the score, they beat us by 50 points and don't get nearly enough credit that they deserve. Shit thread.

What Tugga said.

No use crying over spilt milk.

I'm over this loss and looking forward to the remaining games.

What a disgraceful thread. So we're divers, but Sam Wright will stand under a hospital kick and get crunched by Cotchin, who I like as a player?

Not trolling, but this is bad loser syndrome all over.

Good luck for the rest of the year.

North were easily the better team. Easily.

But there is some truth to this, they do know how to milk a free. Such as the ducking into tackles, flopping whenever they're remotely touched in the back.
The umpiring was soft and rather woeful, but the facts are that Richmond lost the game because they played poorly and the Roos won it because they played well. Simple as that. Good win North

The OP is right in the sense that Nth clearly have learnt to fall fwds as soon as they are tackled from behind and the umps fell for it all day BUT it was wet and the best way to stop them gettng those frees is to actually beat them at the contest - an areathey crushed us in.

also dont know why ppl are banging on about their talent  they have a very young side, theirmidfeld is going to be top shelf and their defence is coming along very well. Some ppl should actually watch them before passing uneducated judgement

edit: well said T4P

Are you kidding me.....Divers.....??????????????
your a JOKE
30yrs of shit footy and thats the best you come up with .Try and stop watching the game out the bottom of your beer GOOOOOSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEE

Time will tell if north will go anywhere personally i see some good signs but i have my doubts. BUT there is no doubt, absolutely no doubt that you are a low life piece of s***. To actually be happy that a young man has been hospitalised and could have possibly been seriously injured just shows who the real dog is. Op is a disgrace, should have been you in that ambulance.
WOOF WOOF!

No need to come over here all aggressive Nth supporters. I think you'll find nearly all Tiges supporters will be against the OP's initial thoughts.

Personally, I thought it was great coaching from Scott today, in that I assume he gave the message to get to the ball first, and you would have earnt what comes your way, either a hard ball get or a free. Also credit for the forward line coaching. Good structure to keep the corridor relatively open coming from the flanks.

Our youngsters were off, their youngsters were very good, and well supported by their experienced brigade.

Good luck for the rest of the season Roos. Hope you stir the pot as much as you can.

Cut the crap dude. We were dogshit today. Second to the ball, lazy, no second efforts, lack of support. Watch the replay and pay attention.

30yrs of shit footy and thats the best you come up with .

30 years of shit yet still going strong..your non-event of a club would fold after only 3 years of poor performances, if that, so enjoy these last rites of meaningless wins as North enter it's final years of existance and look forward to telling your kids about the club you used to support...
