That’s the way it used to be, the entire team would welcome one or two heavy hitters in the hope for success. To echo Ron Barassi, players have become a little bit like modern society, soft and spoilt. Very special guy, was lucky enough to cycle around south of Melbourne with him.

Wasn’t me, but a fellow affectionately known as “Kouta” contacted me recently, he was after some muscle while campaigning for the Lord Mayor position in Melbourne. I used to bounce down in Carlton years back, Unfortunately I couldn’t commit. Great guy.
Heard that broom head said to his old man thanks for the help and doesn’t need his help recruiting anymore.

The issues with the netball had been happening since the start of the season to be fair, particularly around money and how the club was spending it.
Few long time loyal supporters and sponsors have been put off by all that has happened
