On Field that matters

I might be setting myself up for a smashing but that is the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

This "hate" for our club is real and it adds to the "lack of care" people have towards our club.

But if we want this to change, we need something to happen on the field. We are losing badly against the better teams, look horrible when the zone doesn't work and we are heading towards a second season holding up the ladder.

A lot of people recognize our kids as having potential and that is great but until we put it together consistently on the field, we have to accept that our club will either get no press or be slammed when something negative happens, like Saturday.

All this crying makes us look like Russell on Survivor last night. Sure there are legitimate reasons for why things have happened and we may be in the right a fair bit of the time but after a while we just look either whiny or plain stupid.

We should have stopped talking about this thing on Monday with Brad Scott's interviews. The article today is just a cry for attention and it doesn't work. Let it go!
