Streaming One Piece

A young guy sets out to attain the title of Pirate King, and to discover the mythical treasure known as 'One Piece.'

I'm 3 episodes in and it's very good so far. Lots of fun characters. The world building depicts a universe outside our usual time and continents. There are superpowers but in an original way. Plenty of humour.

My son said it grates slightly with the original anime version. I didn't watch it so it's not a problem.

I really enjoyed it. I thought the casting was great, good performances from them.

I watched some of the anime years ago but stopped because of all the fillers.

It was always going to be a challenge pulling off a live action of the manga/anime considering how cheesy it is but I thought it was really well done.

Ep 4 not quite as good as the others so far. Reckon they could have skipped the flashbacks and extended sword fights, and condensed the Kaya house stuff into one episode.

Ep 5 back into top form though.
