I despise both supporter bases so tonight was a can't lose outcome for me. So, with that:

Suck sh*t Chris Scott you cheer squad ahole and all you're defensive, salty bs you've dispensed over the year. Your lack of acknoledgement about where you and other teams really stand; suck it up you petulant salty bs artist.

Can't wait for the bitter and disingenuous crap he comes out with on Monday on 360....

Umm pretty sure the media darlings have the hawks next, and if the demons were so wonderful then how the hell did a woeful cats team outscore them in the last 3 qtrs. First qtr as usual in a final screwed the cats. There are reasons elim final winners mostly crash in the semi finals, it’s called a massive let down and hawks based on Thursday night would’ve beat the dees and cats.

Tambling.

Nah. Tambling at least hit more targets. Clanger shits himself in big games. Never seen him play well in a big game.

Can't believe Scott said we would need to give up Dusty and then some for a Clangerfield trade lol. No wonder they're shit. Crap judge of talent who has built a team full of marshmallows.

Melbourne has the hunger to succeed.
Brayshaw cannot be let off the leash.
He destroyed Geelong in the first half.
They defeated WC in Perth in round 22 and GWS by 7 goals in round 23.
If they defeat Hawthorn, they will be regarded as a threat.

I hope so.
These are their drafts.
Salem 9 (2013)
Petracca, Brayshaw 2, 3 (2014)
Oliver, Weideman 4, 9 (2015)

A gay dude I work with claims he’s been there. Even before he told me that I always thought he was.
Hope his wife and kids don't read this!

I guess the fourth umpire can make a call on an interchange infringement (eg a player going on to the field too early) and pay a free kick. Not sure what all the fuss is about. If there’s a clear infringement in the process of interchanging players then surely he has to have input. And I suspect violent acts in the process of interchange would be included - especially a reportable act. It’s not too much of a stretch when you think about it.
Nope it is bullshit , they should merely be there for interchange infringements or be there in case one of the other 3 get injured. Do they adjudicate on other dodgy free kick misses ??
Another example of Melbourne being looked after by the umpires.

Emergency umpires are still considered to be "officiating" umpires. What if the shoe was on the other foot and there was an off the ball incident which was missed by the 3 umpires but was right in front of the emergency umpire and he couldn't do anything? We would be livid. It makes total sense.

Don't blame the umpire. He is doing his job. Blame Selwood who should have known better. He is the true idiot.

Melbourne are a serious threat. They play like us at the tail end of last season... The whole team tackled like Townsend but they break down forward. McDonald was awesome early but faded. I dont think finishing positions.. i.e. the premier must come from the top 4, matters much anymore. It's a far more even spread and all top 8 teams this year(bar Geelong) are contenders.

Melbourne were obsessed last night, just like we were last year. It's a concern I'm sure our coaches are watching closely.

It's ok. They played Geelong. The worst side in the 8. We don't let teams play like that.

.
Lol. He started by saying how good Melbourne were. What a knob
Ahhhh Chrissy chrissy...you are so disingenuous...start out by praising the oppo....because apparently you forget to do it when the pressa/interview/questions start and you don't remember to do it!!!...and we all only have your word for that sad omission...you effing control freak...
Chrissy chrissy you never forget you one sad **** because you know exactly what you are going to say every pressa with that sly/i'm so clever smirk...
Chrissy chrissy you are the smartest person in the room...you have consistently demo-ed that countless times with your after match pressas in the way you contemptuously reply to the part time jurnos!!! ...mista know-it-all!!!
This losing Finals (how many finals now chrissy?!?!) pressa you have nuffing knew to say!!! No smart arse back handed compliments..LOL...
So as the smartest man in the room you have decided to play the contrite card topped with the sad eyed weary look of a hard working losing coach...
A hard working coach who did his best work in getting a coaching pay extension!!!! LOL
Of course the Dees were the better side...it deflects from both you and your sides sheetiness and maybe save your paycheck extension...
It's the only card you have left to play chrissy before that country club's admin finally wakes up and wields that inevitable axe down on your smartest in the room neck...

We will know more after they play the Hawks, but they were trying to play our pressure and knock on game. They should have won by 12 goals really.

1st qtr they played ripping footy due to oppo not applying 1 ounce of pressure. The next 2.5 qtrs were diabolical. They kicked 1 goal in a half and it wasn’t until 15-17 minutes into the last when flood gates opened. Against a better opposition that applies pressure they would have folded like a pack of cards and lost.
They are playing good footy no doubt. But they won’t get an easier introduction to finals then that.
I rate Melbourne but I am not as bullish as most due to strength of oppo

I agree, but what if those misses were goals... We shoot at goal much the same... Pepper the goals and some find the target eventually. The dominated last night.

If they try to play Richmond’s game against Richmond, they will lose because they’re just not as good at it. Just like Collingwood (x2) this year.

Melbourne kicked 1 goal in quarters 2 and 3, in finals you're lucky to get away with that. They jumped geelol in the first and then outscored geelol by 1 goal in the last. Shemons did get inside 50 a lot though.

Also umpires helped shemons immensely by not calling frees for geelol
And paying off field frees to the dees when hawkins was lining up for goal...selwood manhandled constantly for no frees...hope that doesnt happen against us!
Last night reminded me of our Port game this year...close but no chocolates!!!

Didnt you get the memo... Collingwood have injuries.
