Hopefully TJ doesn't have the same issues CJ has now. hawks spent a fortune sending him O/S to fix the soft tissues, now he hasn't lasted the first real match sim
Hawks medical department is crap, confident were amongst the best in the league at managing soft tissue injuries/prevention now.

Of the top 30 attendances last year, 15 involve collingwood....and remember we only played 26 games...

Impressive that we had the second highest attendance of the year in a game against GWS.

Impressive that we had the second highest attendance of the year in a game against GWS.
And 4 of those were against Freo, Port, Adelaide & Sydney.
Why does the AFL schedule games against those teams at Docklands?
The numbers show why they should all be at the G.

With Hawthorn's calamitous pre-season over the past few days makes me anticipate that the Ginnivan trade could well be a stroke of good fortune for us!

Looks like Max Holmes is going to delay a decision until later in the year. Likely still peeved they didn't pick him for the 2022 GF.

HOLMES FEELS AT HOME, BUT WILL MAKE CATS WAIT
Geelong’s Rising star Max Holmes is happy at Geelong, but also happy to delay talks as rivals knock down his door with offers of long-term contracts.

Holmes only signed his second contract in July of his second season so looks set to play out a significant chunk of the season without a new contract.

It goes without saying Geelong would love to secure him long-term before the season starts.

The unflappable Holmes has made no noises about leaving but given the likely timeline for his extension rivals will have all the time in the world to make pitches.

Holmes was overlooked for the 2022 premiership side despite making a full recovery from a neural hamstring issue but rebounded to play 21 games in his third season.

Despite his breakout year he didn’t finish top 10 in the best-and-fairest with Ollie Henry awarded the club’s best young player trophy.

So with the world at his feet Holmes will let the season unfold as he proves he has the “Judd-like traits” that Patrick Dangerfield predicted could make him the best player in the competition one day.

I beg to differ. All I saw at the time was intent to injure. It's in the eye of the beholder I suppose, but I was anticipating ramifications in the first Hawthorn meeting this year. Now nobody will have to get themselves suspended, which has to be good.
A refresher video.
Hawks player stands his ground and braces for impact.
No intent to injure. And if there was the Hawks player is a genius to plan the resulting injury from that contact.
If you actually believe that was intentional then Maynard should have been rubbed out for life.
