This Webster hit and Clarko abuse is a disaster for the AFL on the eve of Round Zero. Yet, they don’t act in a decisive manner.

The Webster hit should have been classified as intentional not careless conduct. He ran straight at Sympkin and left the ground to bump him in the head. That’s not careless, it’s an intentional decision to hurt.

As for Clarko, he should be suspended for homophobia. No excuse for what he said. His lame arse apology was embarrassing.

He was a great coach, but his behaviour should no longer be tolerated. Using a homophonic slur should not go unpunished.

Wondering if anyone else here has Legends membership with seating in the supporter bays on Level 2 /3 of the Southern Stand for home games. This membership came in a few years ago and you get access to the bay and can choose any seat. Was supposed to make the experience better. I got offered it one year when I renewed and has been good.

This year after paying up the club changed the set up and we now have to apply each game, a week or so out for a $0 seat allocation. You can no longer just sit anywhere in the bay but at the same time don't have a dedicated seat and have to reapply each game for a new seat even though we have already paid .If we forget we lose our access to a seat and admission to the game. Josh at the club tells me this will improve the overall experience in the emails we have been sending to each other.

This week went to apply for a seat for the Syd match 15 mins after they opened and could only get 3 seperate seats so we cant sit together. Club via Josh says this was a ticketek issue , they mucked up but the club cant resolve it once the tickets are allocated. I am not happy and have bought 3 extra tickets elsewhere in the ground so we can sit together.

Anyone else had similar problems

I called the club yesterday about a membership ticketing issue and the person I spoke with was super helpful, super friendly, and got it all sorted out super quickly.

Couldn’t have asked for a better membership experience.

It was probably around the time that society decided that it was OK for consenting adults to enjoy sucking cocks in the privacy of their own home, and people who chose to do that shouldn’t be equated with (for example) a dickhead who needlessly knocks out an opponent in a practice game.

Except they haven't been silent. Dillon addressed it directly last night - generally condemned the look of it (coaches v players) but they can't "get ahead of the process" or something along those lines. Not sure what more people would want before an "investigation" has been completed.

Clarkson will likely cop a fine for misconduct. It was an ordinary act from him, but in the heat of the moment when one of your players has been poleaxed, it is not excusable, but somewhat understandable.

Or is it now reduced to: Goodness, Christian, that kick was not up to your usual lofty standards!

From now on, I shall yell from the stands: Repel them! Repel them! Vanquish the feisty opposition!

I'm quite woke. Friends and enemies will confirm as much.

Having said that, I don't think that Clarkson's comment should be looked upon too seriously given the context in which he blew his top...so to speak.
