I don't want to hear them utter a word about FS/Academies again after this. All that bed wetting for nothing.
They took a Gaelic footballer & ignored all their f/s & academy playersI don't want to hear them utter a word about FS/Academies again after this.
Bank on it hahaThey took a Gaelic footballer & ignored all their f/s & academy players
When he doesn't work out, they'll no doubt complain about Cat B rookies
I think that joke falls a bit flat, since (despite what we heard would happen back when he was delisted) he wasn't picked up in the Rookie Draft, but in the Pre-Season Draft! So he's on the Hawks primary/senior list again, not the rookie list!I have a good feeling about the Hawks’ new Rookie Jack Gunston. I believe he’ll end up playing 200 plus games and even be a Premiership player by the end of his career at Hawthorn.
bizarre. Whats the point of delisting him if they were just putting him back on the senior list?I think that joke falls a bit flat, since (despite what we heard would happen back when he was delisted) he wasn't picked up in the Rookie Draft, but in the Pre-Season Draft! Did Hawks use all their selections in the draft? Could they have just delisted him & planned to take him as a rookie if they didn't have any senior spots left..but it ended up that they didn't need to?bizarre. Whats the point of delisting him if they were just putting him back on the senior list?

Just found this :
Hawthorn has re-drafted Jack Gunston in Friday's AFL pre-season draft. The club had previously committed to re-drafting the 33-year-old after being delisted last month to ensure Hawthorn operated within the league's rules of its utilisation of picks in the national draft. 7 hours ago
even better. He’s already made an AFL ListI think that joke falls a bit flat, since (despite what we heard would happen back when he was delisted) he wasn't picked up in the Rookie Draft, but in the Pre-Season Draft! So he's on the Hawks primary/senior list again, not the rookie list!
Too old, short hair, doesn’t poke his tongue out when he kicks a goal. Probably not even on TikTok. Won’t fit in.I have a good feeling about the Hawks’ new Rookie Jack Gunston. I believe he’ll end up playing 200 plus games and even be a Premiership player by the end of his career at Hawthorn.
I don't get it. How is them not rating their own academy players particularly highly connected to the price paid for the top academy kids?I don't want to hear them utter a word about FS/Academies again after this.

Not even that. Kicks goals apparently, but where’s the entertainment value in that?Does he like to duck his head relentlessly and draw high contact? That will paper over a lot of the cracks.
Having a knee in the shape of a late-30’s-to-40-year-old is not a big deal. Most people of that age have perfectly healthy knees.

I think so.Isn’t that the same dickhead journo who said Bobby Hill was headed back West?
