I'm a 1970 GF survivor too. It changed my life - forever after I have hated Carlton, and their subsequent history only stoked the hatred.

My second favourite team used to be Fitzroy, but Brisbane? GAGF!

It's a good point. A most hated club survey needs an "all of the above" option.

I lived through the post war Norm Smith Demons and they were unbelievable. Think the same sort of aura of Brissy in 2001-3 or Hawthorn during the 80's....they just didn't LOSE.

That said, when we beat them in '58 the air sorta went out of their tyres (yeah I know they won others and pinched it from us in '64 but) since then they've just been insignificant.

I only hate one club and that's St Kilda after what Jeans and O'Dea did to Johnny Greening. That cover up and denial was just about as gutless as the original blow that ended a wonderful players career.

Long time to hold a grudge?? Peter McKenna and me both.

Amen to that. That club protected, celebrated and promoted O’Dea for decades after that incident. Genuinely and permanently unforgivable.
