"Dribble" when the person means "drivel". This one is so bad that dribble has even become an accepted term by many over the past few years to explain when someone is talking rubbish.

I cannot understand what people did at school, for them not to know this most simple piece of grammar and vocabulary. Do they think it is shortened to could'f, should'f?

Also, recently a female coworker incorrectly used the expression 'omg, they are talking about politics again!'. At work, we seldom ever mention politics, maybe once every 6 months. Me and a male coworker started talking politics for about 90 seconds, first time in many months, and she used the expression. Had to call her out on that.

Obviously is the big one. Listen to the average person being interviewed, they say the word obviously about 20 times a minute, in reference to things that are not obvious. I’m not really sure why it is.
