Sounds like a few of the forwards are lacking a bit of confidence/are a little rusty + Erasmus' tag breaking abilities are going to have to develop far earlier than we expected.

Probs not going to write them off 2 rounds into the WAFL season though

Kuek is bloody exciting. I wonder if there's a chance at a sneaky debut sometime this year.

Also West Coast seconds are ****ing diabolical.

Geez Emmett and Corbett aren't great set shots. The rest of the freo listed players were good I thought.

Kuek has to debut this year.

Corbett was good except his set shots. Reckon he ran heaps up and down, putting pressure on. Looked gassed with the amount of running. Took 9 marks too. Good game and I reckon he could be close. Everything but the finishing which could be forgiven.

Emmet was having pings from all sorts of angles and never looked like passing them off. Reckon he’ll get spoken too regarding that selfish play.

Wilson really performed arguably against a weak opposition.

Keuk finished well, but Amiss and Jackson in his way.

I feel for Erasmus, he’s getting tagged, albeit on reputation from a few early WAFL games where he dominated. He’s getting zero room and some scrub is just sitting on him, completely sacrificing their own game, and stifling his development. I don’t like it. Not sure why the WAFL coaches are putting so much effort into shutting him down while Bennell gets free rein to dominate the game.

Yes agree that it is starting to get ugly; one could argue that if he gets to AFL level he will be prepared but I just don't think this is good for him right at the moment.

Out of that game, I think you could say only Wilson, Draper and maybe Treacy would be in contention for a spot. The first two played very good games.
Didn’t notice Draper. The ball didn’t go down there too much.

Shame about Erasmus. He is learning about the tag very early on. Maybe too early.

It was dumb coaching by Perth, put so much attention on Erasmus and still got spanked. I doubt being tagged in a few games will hurt him.

i am not entirely sure what you mean....
47 for them has tagged him all day. he needs to run harder and work off the tag.
Meant that players in the team wouldn’t sacrifice or allocate time to blocking for their own team mates to allow them to get space. Erasmus is stuck with a tagger every week unfortunately. That’s state league

Dunno if it’s a bit of an f you Fremantle but last week they essentially let Brodie run free while Erasmus got blanketed by some ex afl player.

Especially with today's umpiring which was pro Perth. Poor Raz was being held all day, was ridden into the ground about 4 or 5 times without getting 1 free. It's was a joke! They literally turned a blind eye to what was going on.
