Brilliant peel play through the middle with Brodie passing to Sturt on a strong lead who from 40m directly in front goaled. Play started by Henry who tackled well, got the free and then hit the kick from half back into the corridor.

Great run from Brodie and finished by Sturt. Getting dropped doesn't seem to have hurt Sturt any. He looks more determined than he's been for a long time.

The real answer people wont like is if he still cant do it he'll never be able to. Think he has a very specific role at AFL which is purely offensive extractor. Problem is that role can be filled by a lot of players and has no job security, particularly for someone who cant play any other position

That's fair but he was the 19th last pick in the draft and Freo had two more of those remaining picks, three being father sons.... and Freo keeping a list spot open.

The barrel isn't all that deep.

True. But I think with the lack of competition last year for his spot and he was performing wasn't so glaring. If he was serious about his football, this offseason I would be trying to work my cardio and stamina. True it might not solve his deficiency but will help to a degree
