What an absolute shocking decision. Bad enough to lose any match on the back of a diver milking a penalty, but to see it in the championship decider makes this the biggest blight in this game. The ref is going to feel embarassed when he sees the replay. Given the circumstances, one of the worst if not the worst decision I've seen. Always thought Berisha was a flog but now I'm convinced. Hopefully Postecoglou leaves now.

Wonder what write up this will get in the papers

Made worse by the way the player who basically tripped over himself while having an air swing celebrated the awarding like he did. He would have known it was a terrible decision.

And this is why this comp will never be taken seriously. Amatuer hour.

When will FIFA enforce professional timekeepers? 4 minutes injury time is 4 minutes, not 4 minutes and 15 seconds (unless there is a stoppage during the 4 minutes). I am sick to death of referees being the timekeeper. It is one of many areas of the sport that highlights its lack of professionalism. The whistle should have been blown before the dive was allowed to occur.

The sad fact is that he's just set the sport back five years. Any respect the sport was gaining has been lost in that one instant. Anyone who was thinking 'Yeah maybe I'll get on board and go to a few games' will look at that and be turned off. Its just such a shame for the A League.

Perth were never going to win after Berisha equalised ...

They are unlucky but Roar are worthy back to back champions ...

Frankly there has been a massive overreaction, Roar were by far better over the whole 90 minutes, had Perth won it would have been a Bradbury championship ...

Oh I see, because we should just give the title to whoever "deserved it"... not who actually scored a goal, but if you played better and lost, you still deserve to get the trophy.

Overreaction? The bloke took a dive to win the game. No overreaction at all.

You were down to ten men and mentally shot had the game gone into extra time, did you seriously think you'd win ??

Perth never looked like scoring again after their first goal, can understand why you're bitter but Brisbane are worthy champions over the entire season and game ...

You? I'm not a Perth fan. I may be a Freo fan but not a Perth fan.

It doesn't matter if they never looked like scoring. If you score a goal, win a game.. you win a game. You deserve to win the game because you scored and they didn't.. end of story.
