Pick 11 - St Kilda

Sinn

We are very pleased that Sinn is still on the board at this selection. The way the game is moving it is all about speed and metres gained and this is precisely what Josh Sinn offers as well as helping to alleviate the reliance upon Brad Hill. At times this year our team looked slow and at one speed and we are over the moon that we are able to get our hands on Sinn to address this.

In consideration Nasiah Wanganeen Milera and Goater

Once again the Tigers get to their pick and find themselves in an interesting position with regards which way we go. Having picked Gibcus with our first pick there is a thought that we should go with a midfielder/flanker at this pick, but I can't go past taking

Jacob Van Rooyen 194cm 88kg KPP

Van Rooyen coming in gives us the chance to start developing the player who should take over from Riewoldt in 12-24 months. JVRs strengths are his ability to hit the scoreboard as well as his contested marking, plus he has versatility to also swing down back to change things up, which means that we could at time throw Balta forward if we needed to.

With our first 2 picks we've managed to replace the loss of CCJ & Chol as young KPP to be part of the next generation.

Pick 18 Sydney take Campbell Chesser, having lost Dawson to the Crows in the trade period they take Chesser as a replacement.
