i got a nokia n80 phone but i dont like it, i wish to put it on ebay. im on a plan. does that mean its locked?

no it wont be locked because you're on a plan. it will only be locked if you bought a phone on a prepaid sim card.

most phones are locked into the suppliers network whether pre-paid or on a plan.
Just call your supplier and they will give you the codes to unlock it over the phone.

really?? i know all the phones i've had on plans (all 3 of them) haven't been unlocked. but they've all been with optus
