Would rather keep being finals bound rather than getting ONE flag then being irrelevant for a bunch of yrs.
Loser club mentality

Last two flag coaches Chris Scott and Craig McRae. What happened here?

Well good for you! That's the attitude.
If we all judged success by playing in finals rather than winning premierships, the world would be a better place.

Imagine if you were a team that has won as many premierships as anyone, and played in (and won) many more finals than anyone?
Brisbane fans just can't imagine it. That's a total 'fantasy' world for them. A world of unicorns, rainbows and Hipwoods with courage, unselfish Baileys and Danihers with brains...

4 ex Lions players doesn't mean they'll all be great coaches so not sure what toddler's logic you're applying here?
The same toddler logic this whole thread has turned into. Do you want some Stephen Hawking logic? Brisbane being 4 wins and 27 losses from their past 31 games at the G means the flag is as likely as an Australian break-dancing gold medal.

You know what they say?
"Past performance is no indication of future performance " 😁
