do or die time
disappointed with the year so far, need to clean up the skills and find a foil for Jessie upfront

3rd leg of this crazy condensed schedule, not sure how we get both Adelaide teams in Adelaide, but here we are

we suck again GIF

Really disappointing end to the season. Way too many passengers.

One positive Anderson on the ball in the last qtr. Keep her in there Dal. The less said about the captain the better.

Yeah some shoddy umpiring. Long hated the loose dropping the ball interpretation in tackles. Would free the game up more.

But honestly we are just reverting to what we were looking like early last year now. Basically had a great 8 game stretch across 2 years and nothing to show. Frustrating.

Listening to the commentary, there is now a solid development program for the young girls coming through and you can witness the benefits.

Looking at our list many are 30 or older (bit like pies) and 5 years ago they were of a better than average standard, but today their skills are sadly just not up to it.

Our switches are very clunky and half the time we are dropping chest marks.

We have few players that can actually kick the ball with penetration, yet other sides create space through that penetration and have a fluency to their game we do not.

Love the girls efforts and they seriously have a crack but you can see how our trading out of the draft to get in seasoned talent has left us, bit like the men competive just not contending.

Freo Port Haw and Ade showed us that they have a bullocking on baller and ruck who make space for others. We sadly do not. Some of their new recruits just look more polished and have time Ports 16 Shineah Goodie for a first year player looked fantastic.

Thank God for Jamie Lambert who is street's ahead of our next best, Tyanna Smith who can seriously play, same with Wardlaw. Then there is a big gap to a group of GOFs.

JNaomi Anderson did some good stuff when switched on ball should do the same for Ash Richards

Whilst we missed Nat Exxon and Georgia Patrikios they are not going to fix the onball problem.

Need to hit the draft and try and get some good talent, which is hard with 10 other teams in Melbourne trying to do the same.

To be really competitive we need a better Ruck, combative onballer, another forward or get Ella Friend much fitter, and also need a hard running distributor off half back, maybe that is the new role for Patrikios.

Lot to ask in a season but the 30+ oldies aren't going to cut it anymore
