If nothing else, there is no way either of them finish top 4 surely. We'd need some other teams to do an Adelaide and pull their finger out to keep Pies and Port down but there is some fantasy land we have two top 10 picks and our pick in the teens.

I DGAF what Carlton do, as long as we get sweet picks from Port and the Pies. If it makes people happy that they lose some other times I can live with that. As long as we don't need Carlton to win to stay above said teams.

I feel sorry for Dixon, that fumble at the end I thought he was being too casual. Then I realised the dude can't bend over. If Marshall and Georgiades are out they'll have to keep his corpse out there as well.

A good outcome, and port surely loose next week before 2 easy games then blues. They'll hover around that 5-8 mark I'd expect from here, depending on how bad those injuries are

He's basically like 2015 /16 Pav now without the advantage of coming back from a starting position of being one of the best players ever. (For the children reading: Treebeard version Pav kicked 71 goals across his last two seasons)

Really it’s far too early to lock in any ladder positions. But the pies sitting at 3.5 wins out of 8 this weekend would be very tasty indeed.
