We're playing like a bottom 6 side.
Fumbly, contest adverse bunch of guys guarding grass so hard waiting for a turnover to hopefully get some easy ball out wide on the counter.
If not for JHF and a brief spark from Butters etc we'd be losing this.
It's almost to the point where we don't want a contest of any sorts. Play glorified circle work and hope they make more mistakes than we do. Zone off, play 10-15m away from an opponent and hope and pray we somehow get the ball back.
A complete lack of any sort of assertiveness, any sort of confidence, any sort of want at all. Just a bunch of connected guys jogging about having a kick and hopefully doing something worthwhile occasionally.
DBJ, McEntee and now Jones as well as our small forwards and not one of them has a feel or has the class to create, they all just rely on luck to get through. Not to mention they all just fill leading lanes the minute we try to bring the ball forward.
This is so bad to watch.
